Bitterroot Blades was built on a desire to produce the highest quality knife that is not only utilitarian, but made of high quality steel and the finest craftsmanship. It’s the best knife you will ever own.
I grew up on my Grandparents small ranch in Montana. It is there in the Bitterroot Valley, repairing farm equipment that I learned to work with metal. After working as a millworker for several years I had the opportunity to work with a farrier tool maker and I began experimenting making a few hunting knives. It is with that first knife I made, that was the start of building my business. My wife and I are now partners in a knife making business we named after the beautiful valley we live in, “BITTERROOT BLADES”.
